Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Have you experienced life threatening events such as being in a car accident, a natural disaster, or an assault? Some people may develop PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder) following such experiences. The symptoms include upsetting memories, feeling on edge, having disturbed sleep, or not being able to go to work or interact with their loved ones. If these symptoms persist longer than a few months, people may have PTSD. Psychological interventions are proven to be helpful in resolving PTSD symptoms.
